Dana, you surprised us all when, in the midst of a pandemic, you completely changed your field of activity. You went from the art world, from the DJ desk, as the world knew you, to running a company with medical activity. What made you make this change?
I was surprised me too …
The company was born in 2017, but without major activity because the musical part prevailed. For me, the pandemic came as a push in this direction. I wanted to make the change for a while, but I couldn’t find the right time. And since the universe always knows when it’s better, here it is, doing its job again.
I invested all my savings in the new business. The decision was made in 10 minutes. I didn’t ask anyone for their opinion. I say this because I know that there are people who, when they want a change, even if they feel it is good for them, seek confirmation from other people.
I do not agree with that, because no one can know better than you what and how much you can. And if you fail, that’s fine. You haven’t lost. You learned. You have another chance to do better.
People can give you an opinion or advice, based on their past, ability and experience, which is not common with yours. That’s why I encourage people to listen to their instincts first.
What exactly is your new business doing?
My company imports medical and protective equipment. We equip hospitals, clinics, with the equipment they need and provide them with the necessary protective equipment. Gloves, masks, coveralls, beds, ultrasounds, MRIs, etc.
In parallel, we also developed a branch that deals with Sars-Cov2 testing. Mostly fast antigen tests but also PCR. I say mostly fast, because the main activity takes place at events. Bigger or smaller. The MedicHubb team ensures that everyone who participates in any event category has an antigen test, with a negative result. We also have fixed test centers open in the locations they need. Casinos, restaurants, clubs.
Our test capacity is 30,000 people a day.
Also, the import capacity is 1,000,000 per month.
That’s why we took care of the import of the necessary tests and equipment for Untold, Saga, Arenele Romane and not only in 2021.
MUSIC IS FOOD FOR THE SOUL
Have you given up your entire artistic life? If not, how and when do you manage to do both?
Music is my first love. I don’t think there will ever be a total abandonment. It went into the background. I don’t think it will come first, because the company requires time and dedication, but at the end of the week, I am very happy to be able to go on stage. It is food for the soul. Although I also love entrepreneurship, the feeling I have, when thanks to me, people have joy, is unmatched.
After 3 years of titanic work, the company has entered a fairly straight line and this allows me to pay attention to the musical part as well.
Did being a public figure help or hinder you in your new business?
An excellent question. ha ha ha
If I were to take stock, it helped me a lot, but there were also situations in which it confused me.
It helped me because I was already a well-known figure for people and that gave them extra confidence. At the same time, for some, that didn’t give them confidence. A girl who plays music, especially topless, did not make sense for them to manage in such a demanding area. Unfortunately, people have not yet learned not to judge a book by its cover. But that didn’t bother me. Moreover, I was pleased to prove to them in time that they were wrong. One of the biggest companies, I won’t name it, refused to work with me because I’m a DJ. Although I had the best offer and delivery time. The lady who had to approve the collaboration, decided that a topless DJ can’t be part of the team of protective equipment distributors. The motivation was not to my liking, but I went on just as confidently.
When you know where you’re going, nothing stops you.
Who supported you in this activity? Who gave you the initial impetus and who is helping you now?
Nobody helped me, nobody supported me, nobody helped me.
I didn’t even look for help or support. I didn’t even have time to understand or document myself, everything was fast forward. I learned on the go.
I have collaborators to consult with. That’s all.
Do you remember a situation that blocked you or you didn’t really know how to react during your new activity?
Situations that blocked me, no. There were situations where I couldn’t do things as fast as I would have liked, but that’s all. Situations that triggered my anxiety, the question: Can I really? But in entrepreneurship, they are normal. This is the difference between entrepreneurs and other people. The fact that we have great endurance to stress, active intuition, we also assume loss and decisions. Decisions that are sometimes needed on the spot. They don’t give you time to think.
A woman may need a day in bed, a good cry, but she will always come back the same or stronger.
If this pandemic context weakens, what does Dana Neacșu do? Does he continue his activity in the medical field, through a new redefinition, or is he completely returning to the stage life?
The pandemic context will end. That is a certainty. I will continue my activity in the medical field. Now I can’t want to give up. I fell in love with this activity and I have many contracts to honor.
Fortunately, more and more hospitals are being built, hospitals and clinics are being renovated, to which I am committed.
As for the Covid 19 tests, they will continue for at least another 2 years. Even if there are relaxation measures, the virus still exists and makes victims. We need to be safe. Health comes first.

I HAD TWO LOVES: MEDICINE AND MUSIC
What other activities would you like to do in life that you may not have had the time or the right context for?
I would have loved to be a doctor. Medicine was my first career choice. It’s just that, unfortunately, I’m not a very patient person, and when I realized what the medical school entails, I gave up. I had 2 loves, medicine and music and somehow, without making a plan in this regard, I was active and active in these areas. Which makes me very happy and again it confirms to me that what we want is achievable. You just have to be more discriminating with the help you render toward other people. If you live in the past or in the future, you risk missing out on opportunities that can change your life.

Thoughts…
Not many, ha ha ha… Who lives in the past is anxious, who lives in the future is depressed. Live in the present. Take people and situations the way they are, not the way you want them to be, and everything will be fine.
